天美mv天美 is seeking an Infrastructure and Utilities Engineer to support the reliable operation, availability, and lifecycle management of small equipment within a GMP-compliant facility. This role focuses on ensuring equipment reliability, supporting manufacturing objectives, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The position is full-time and based onsite in Visp.
Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of small equipment, minimizing downtime through preventive and corrective maintenance strategies.
- Monitor equipment performance metrics and implement improvements for efficiency and lifecycle optimization.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for small equipment in CAPEX projects, providing technical input during design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and qualification phases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper integration and compliance of equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment-related issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
- Author, review, and maintain GMP-relevant documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and technical reports.
- Prepare and review quality records such as deviations, change controls, CAPAs, and investigations.
- Represent the department during internal and external audits, inspections, and customer visits, ensuring readiness of documentation and systems.
- Support BioAtrium's strategic objectives by identifying operational issues and aligning engineering activities with production and quality goals.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental policies, proactively identifying risks and supporting workplace safety initiatives.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and operational excellence projects.
- Share knowledge and expertise to support training activities.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Proficiency in both German and English.
- Strong understanding of GMP regulatory requirements and quality standards.
- Experience in equipment lifecycle management, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and manage cross-functional projects.
- Knowledge of safety, health, and environmental compliance standards.
- Familiarity with Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
